Our History
SMSmedia was founded by Brad in 1993. Initially bringing Network Rail's leaves on the line to the world, SMS then found the perfect match with the tunnelling story of the Jubilee Line Extension.
For seven years, the team brought the first ever dedicated tunnelling programming for a project, to the stakeholders and to television.
The success of this pioneering venture brought opportunities to develop and advance our experience and techniques. From a decade following the challenges of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link to four years of the political football that was the Millennium Dome and its subsequent phoenix transformation into the O2.
Our enthusiasm for long-term construction and infrastructure projects had been firmly established by the early millennium. Our rewarding experiences and partnerships enabled our ability to understand the DNA of organisations, their aims, values and brand methodologies from the get-go.
This prepared us for the decade of work for the Olympic Delivery Authority, London 2012, the LLDC and finally into the legacy of West Ham's stadium.
We continue to devote our passion and dedication to ambitious projects, recently with Openreach's Full Fibre rollout, HS2 and London North East Railway.
